Our owner Doug Kasper is one of the few THX Certified Installers in Minnesota.
If you don’t remember THX, it was started by George Lucas of Star Wars fame. After the first Star Wars movie became a success, he had an amazing budget for his second Star Wars movie Empire Strikes Back. The larger budget afforded him the ability to really focus on graphic and sound effects. After the release of The Empire Strikes Back, Lucas’ team of engineers went out into theaters throughout the United States to watch and enjoy the new masterpiece. What they found was disappointment because their incredible work in sound was drastically different from one theater to the next. From this experience, standards in movie theater sound was developed and THX came into play.
Understanding how sound power, audio reflections, and sound deadening can affect your movie theater experience is extremely important when creating a home theater space. Our experts know how to achieve, as closely as possible, a real theater experience for you.
Our goal is to create a space where you can get away from it all for a little while. Where you can enjoy a movie experience like no other where the exceptional sound and video immerse you in the storyline, the romance, the fantasy, and overall magic of the movie.
We love helping families create their favorite place.
